This image shows an older couple, William S. Whiting and wife Caroline "Carrie" Whiting, standing in front of their Shulls Mill home called "Ottaray." William wears a light colored suit and bow tie. Carrie wears a patterned dress and short sleeve sweater. The front porch of their home is visible behind them, with an ivy-covered column supporting the roof. This image would have been taken around the time the Whiting couple was selling their home. For more information about William S.
