This item is a postcard with an illustration of "Daniel Boone Hotel, Boone, N. C." on the front. The hotel is a large red (presumable brick) building with an upper and lower front porch with white railings. Flowering bushes run along the front of the building. Steps descend to the viewer's perspective from the middle of the building. A mountain can be seen in the background. Daniel Boone Hotel was located on King Street in Boone, NC, but is no longer there. Text in the bottom indicates copyright for this card is for " Curt Teich & Co., Inc." The back of the postcard is unused and has text referencing someone named Harry N. Martin, possibly the creator of the image. Other text indicated this card to be "Genuine Curteich-Chicago 'C. T. Art-Colortone'."
