Description
The image shows the back of the Boone Post Office. The post office is constructed out of stone. In the back, there is a stone chimney and a covered portico. You can see the cupola that sits on the roof in the front of the post office. There is a set of stairs going down on the left side of the building. To the right of the down stairs is a set of three steps that leads up to the back door of the post office. There is a white sign on the top of the door that reads: NO ADMITTANCE. There are windows along the back wall and down the side of the building. The image was found in a plastic sleeve of negatives that reads: Post Office - Boone 8-56.
