Description

This black and white image features a kneeling young boy wearing striped long-sleeve shirt, jeans, boots, glasses, and hat in a potato patch. To the left of the boy sits a nearly full wooden bucket of potatoes, several of which he holds in his right hand. Five or more burlap sacks, possibly containing potatoes, are strewn behind the boy in a partially dug-up potato field. Several homes and a barn appear in the distance, as well as a car. This image was found in a plastic sleeve labeled "Potato Patch Critcher Boy," and "C.F. Thompson (copy map) County Surveyer 2-57."
