Unidentified Boy Near Railroad Tracks

Title

Unidentified Boy Near Railroad Tracks

Subject

Cat, Railroad, Portrait

Description

In this image, an unidentified, young boy poses for the camera while wearing what appears to be a belted dress over pants. To his right, a black cat approaches the camera from the wooden, front porch of what is probably a house. The photographer's shadow is visible on the ground in the foreground. At far right in the background, a set of railroad tracks appears to run from behind the house off the right edge of the portrait. This photograph appeared in Folder 2.6 of the Watauga County Times Past Records, 1900-1990, AC 223, Appalachian Collection, ASU.
