Subject

Landslide, 1940 Flood, Paul Weston, Road Crew

Description

A road crew is seen clearing a massive landslide out of an unidentified road, about half of which has also collapsed down the embankment in the foreground. About 20 men appear to be working on this landslide caused by the August 13, 1940, flood. Unfortunately, this image has slid within its mounting, leaving a small portion obscured at bottom. This image is paired with Par-Wes-03-068 in its mounting from the scrapbook.
