This print, which is a copy from an unknown original, was donated by Bobby Snead to the Boone Cultural Resources Department about 2011. The image shows Engine 11 of the Linville River Railway stopped adjacent to the Linville River Railway depot building at Boone, North Carolina. Numerous cars are seen parked near the depot, suggesting that this may have been one of the popular excursion trips of the late 1930s. The image is taken facing west.
