On the right side of the post office is a brick wall and in the distance to the right there are brick houses. The image is taken across King Street looking south east. The American Flag is waving on the flag pole at the left side of the post office. The image was found in a plastic sleeve of negatives that contained a glassine envelope with these words written on it: Post Office - Boone 8-56.
