This image shows an older couple, William S. Whiting and wife Caroline "Carrie" Whiting, standing in front of their Shulls Mill home called "Ottaray." William wears a light colored suit and bow tie. Carrie wears a patterned dress and short sleeve sweater. The front porch of their home is visible behind them, with an ivy-covered column supporting the roof.
