Description

This item is an overview of page 22 of the scrapbook. Included on the page are four newspaper columns mentioning Paul Weber performances with Sid Reinherz at the Myles Standish Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts. The column on the top left is called "Stepping Out with Louis Hughes" and the handwritten date at the top indicates it to be from the post. An arrow points to a headshot of Paul Weber at the top of the column. On the top right is a newspaper clipping from the Boston Record on July 14, 1945 featuring a photograph of Paul Weber playing the Hammond Organ. The caption indicates he will be performing with Sid Reinherz at USO Service Centers. Another column of "Stepping Out with Louis Hughes" is on the bottom left from a different date, possibly July 6 as seen handwritten at the top of the column. The newspaper clipping on the bottom right is titled "Along Hub Rialto by Sam Berenson." It is possible this column is from September 16, based on the handwritten date at the top of the column.
