Description

This item is an overview of page 29 of the scrapbook. There are three newspaper clippings and one notecard on the page. The top left clipping is from The Detroit News on October 4, 1945. It lists Paul Weber as performing on WJR Radio at 4:45 pm. The middle clipping is from the Detroit Free Press on October 7, 1945. The emphasized section indicates that Paul Weber will be performing on WJR Radio on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:45 pm. The clipping on the far right is from the Detroit News on October 4, 1945. The column is titled Revelry by Night and the emphasized section is about Paul Weber performing in the Sapphire Room at Wardell-Sheraton Hotel in Detroit, MI. Just below that clipping is one from the New Center News on October 8, 1945 and again details Paul Weber's performances at the Sapphire Room. The notecard included on the page appears to be a note to Paul Weber from Don Weeks, "Assistant Director of Publicity and Public Relations." The note reads, "Hello Paul, Glad to have you with us on W. J. R. Unable to stay this eve but will drop in again at a later date. Ps- Wrote you up in our Sunday column Free Press Radio Gossip."
