This item is a black and white photo postcard of a man laying in the grass. Behind him is a wooden structure. Pen marks reading "N. C." can be seen across his chest. The postcard was sent on what appears to be September 1. The number 1842 is seen just below that date and the numbers below it are unclear. Likely it was sent circa 1915. There appears to be two types of script on the back. The donor identified the man as Ben Thompson.
