Description
This picture is a color slide of the 1963 Daniel Boone Wagon Train. The picture is of the parade participants gathering at the William J. Conrad Stadium parking lot. On the right side of the picture, there is a line of cars parked. Among the cars, there is a horse drawn carriage that says "Tweetsie Stage Coach U. S. Mail" on the back. On the top of the carriage, there are a few people including Fred Kirby in an extravagant cowboy outfit. There is a line of covered wagons in the background with their own horses. The crowd around Kirby's wagon is growing, as several groups of people can be seen walking towards him. There is also a fence with barbed wire on the left.
