Description

This picture was in a sleeve with text that reads, "Together." This picture shows a children's choir standing on a theater stage at Appalachian State Teachers College. The singers are split into two groups and there is a piano in the center. A man in a suit is standing in front of the piano and seems to be giving a speech. This picture was taken from an overhead balcony and a crowd of people can be seen sitting in the theater. There is a banner over the choir that is reflecting light and therefore illegible. On the wall above the theater, there is a symbol with a book and an oil lamp. Between the two symbols, there is some text that reads "Esse Quam Videri" which translates to read "To be, rather than to seem."
