This image shows the Cowardly Lion, a character from "The Wizard of Oz," standing outside his den at Land of Oz in Beech Mountain, NC. The lion stands on a wooden platform as he holds his own tail in the air. A short stone wall sits in the left of the image and attaches to a stone structure in the background. An empty stone doorway sits to the left of a small wooden door. These two doors sit under a large rock outcropping. This is presumably the Cowardly Lion's "Lion's Den," a stop in the theme park. This slide has a processing date of September 1970.
