Description

This image shows a man talking on the phone at a counter with a radio sitting on it and a "Jay's Cabs" advertisement taped to the side of it. The lower left and right corners of the image have what appear to be freezers, with one of them labeled "oysters" and "turkey." Another man is visible in the middle of the image behind the first man. This man has been identified as W. B. "Brantley" York, possibly in the Boone Super Market on East Main St., where York is documented as working in May 1952.
