This letter to Rufus Edmisten was sent by Barbara Mast on November 30, 1959. The letter mentions hoping he made it back safely in the snow and school cancellations in Boone, NC. The letter also mentions how much Mast enjoyed seeing Edmisten, but that she is aware he doesn't feel the same. It expresses that everyone is talking about the two of them and another couple, Linda and Joe. It goes on to say that she is ready to give up, "date a college boy, and get married." This item was on top of an envelope on page 19 in the scrapbook labeled in gold marker on the front cover with the dates 1958-1959. Handwritten inscription inside cover reads, "Rufus Edmisten 1958-Senior Year, High School, 1959-Freshman Year, University."
