Description
This item is a black and white photograph of Ben Thompson, ca. 1895 according to the donor. It is the same "Pickard's Penny Photographs" as item 125, but the bottom half of image torn off. The “penny” photos are approximately 2.25″ x 2.75". On the back is "Pickard's Penny Photographs" out of Chattanooga Tennessee. It states, "Send any picture and 25 cents to PICKARD, 4710 Frandford Ave., Philadelphia and get 12 nice Photos." An undamaged copy of this item can be seen in item 214 of this series.
