This was the only item found on page 18. The article was originally folded to fit in Rufus Edmisten's scrapbook labeled "Birth-Appointment on Ervin's staff, Volume 1." The title of the article is "Weather Terrible--Fishing, Too--On Opening Day Of Trout Season." The publication is unknown, but it was written by Moses Crutchfield, an associate sports writer. The article details the cold and foggy weather that April in Watauga County. The picture seen in item 065 of this series is featured in this article as well as I. W. Miller on Cone Lake, Allen Atkins in Lenoir, and officers Tommy Woodruff, Walter Edmisten, and Tommy Osborne.
