Description

This picture is a color slide of Poplar Hill Drive during the blizzard of 1960. On the slide "60 snow" is written in pen. The image is pink due to Still Image degradation. This picture is of the people in the neighborhood on the road. There are four people on the road. Next to the road there are piles of snow that are very tall. There is one car beside the road which seems to have been fully shoveled out. Behind the people, there is a hill with several houses and a field surrounded by fencing. A smaller road goes up this hill, but it is still covered in snow. The people seem to either be shoveling the road or having a snowball fight. There are a few telephone poles and wires around the area.
