Description

This picture is a color slide of the 1963 Daniel Boone Wagon Train as it travels through King Street. There is a crowd on the sidewalk on the right side. The focus of the picture is a horse-drawn carriage with four visible riders. There are two riders in the driver’s seat but they are receiving help from Fred Kirby in the seat behind them. There is also a passenger within the carriage waving to the crowd. All of the passengers are wearing bright red outfits and the horses have harnesses with red accents. Behind the carriage there are a few fire trucks with visible firefighters hanging on one of the trucks. A white fire truck has its lights running. There is an advertisement for an auction on July 6th on a telephone pole.
