Description

This picture is a color slide of the 1963 Daniel Boone Wagon Train as it travels through King Street. There are a few onlookers seated on some stairs near the Mayflower Beauty Shoppe and a crowd on the other side of the road. In the road there is a line of five covered wagons and two carriages. The wagons are each pulled by a team of two horses. A few of the participants are walking alongside the wagons and others are sitting in the wagons. The wagons all have different designs. There is a sign on the right side of the street that says "College St" and an advertisement for an auction to be held on July 6th on a telephone pole to the left.
