Description

This picture is a color slide of the 1963 Daniel Boone Wagon Train as it travels through King Street. There is a crowd of onlookers next to the St. Luke's Episcopal church and a few more near the Mayflower Beauty Shoppe. On the road, there are seven covered wagons with teams of horses. Each wagon seems to be unique and most have two or more people sitting in the wagon itself. There is an advertisement for an auction posted on a telephone pole. On the right side of the picture, there is a street sign that says "College St."
