This image depicts a brochure with two drawings, three photographs, and about five bodies of text. One image is of Daniel Boone looking at the sky with an image of Grandfather Mountain behind him. He is wearing his customary raccoon-skin hat. The other image is a highly caricatured depiction of a Native American holding a tomahawk and a whip. Both drawings are printed in red, black, and white. One photograph shows a rehearsal of the Horn in the West to an empty theater. This image is meant to show the reader what the theater looks like. Another image is of the parking lot for the theater and includes a description of the number of cars that can fit in the lot. In this image, the parking lot seems to be full or nearly full. The third image is of the cast of the Horn in the West performing one of the scenes in the play. This seems to be the scene in which Amos Howard prays about freedom. The text of the brochure includes a description of the Daniel Boone Theater and its location relative to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Highways 421, 321, and 221. At the top of the brochure, "Drama-Outdoor .' Horn of the West" is written in pencil. Item 013-b shows five images and quite a bit of text. This brochure gives details for the Horn in the West play. Images include the swinging bridge from Grandfather Mountain, The Blowing Rock, and show scenes from the Horn in the West.
