Title

United States Army Edwards Kaserne

Subject

United States Army, Horses, Military Bases, Military, Sculptures, Frankfurt--Germany

Description

This image shows the United States Army's military base, Edwards Kaserne, in Germany. The hood of a car is partially visible on the brick road. There is a security station next to the large sign that displays U.S. Army Edwards Kaserne. On the pillars next to the overhead sign, there are horse sculptures that sit atop the pillars. On the ground level next to one of the pillars, a soldier stands guard. Trees partially obstruct the view of the large building behind the security station. The building contains many windows and a clock. Another soldier can be seen walking across the brick road from the building. There are also humvee model vehicles pulling trailers in the secured space. The notation on the back of the image suggests that a soldier took this image when they lived there. This image is in the thirtieth bound sleeve in a binder.
