This image shows a man sitting at a desk while using a telephone and writing on something. The desk has racks of documents, a couple ashtrays, and a prayer on it. A chair sits on the opposite side of the desk from the man along with several filing cabinets. The walls beside the desk have signs for The Fidelity and Casualty Company of New York insurance group, a framed image of an animal, and a calendar. This may be C. M. (Columbus Monroe) "Rorie" Critcher (1872-1960), former Sheriff and noted Boone businessman, perhaps in the Coe Realty office in the Appalachian Theatre building. Critcher kept offices as a principal at Tri-County Realty (in the Coe Realty space) in 1952 and 1953.
