Man Doing Metal Work

Title

Man Doing Metal Work

Subject

Metalwork, Aprons, Boone, Workers Of Boone, Metal, Watauga Democrat, Bill Rush

Description

This image shows a man in an apron doing what appears to be some sort of metal work. He is reaching down to lift metal slats that sit in a device on the table in front of him. An emblem of a Native American in a headdress can be seen in the upper left of the image with the words United Metal visible. A comedic sign in the upper left corner of the image encourages employees to be pleasant in the morning but the rest of the day can be ignored. This has been identified as Bill Rush working at the Watauga Democrat.
