This image shows a man swinging fire as part of the fire dance in Horn in the West. Multiple people in the background are in costume portraying Native Americans. There are feathers on the heads of the men and feather on the ends of staffs held by women who cover their hair. A drummer can be seen in the bottom right of the image. This was one of two images on page 14 of the photo album. The back of this photo has handwriting on it reading "Hot Dancer, The Democrat Boone, NC" and "Williams resides in Boone year-round."
