This item is a faded black and white portrait of a man in a suit and tie. He appears to have a watch chain. Handwritten on the back is "Abner Farthing" followed by information about his family. He was the son of Calvin Farthing, who was the son of Thomas Farthing. Thomas Farthing was the son of Dudley and Nancy Farthing. His sister was Sallie, the mother of D. F. Greene.
