Description

This picture is a color slide of the 1963 Daniel Boone Wagon Train as it travels through King Street. There is a crowd of people near College Street and a few on the other side of the street. In the road, there are two covered wagons, a horse rider, and two groups of walking people. At the front of the train, there is a group of young parade goers wearing costumes. A few of the individuals are wearing coonskin hats and seem to be directly cosplaying as Daniel Boone. Behind that group, there is a horse rider in costume looking back at the crowd of people behind. Leading the crowd is a covered wagon being pulled by two bulls connected by a yoke. On one side of the street there is a sign that says "College St." There is also an advertisement for an auction to be held on July 6th posted to a telephone pole.
