This image depicts a Charlotte Observer newspaper Clipping. The clipping is of an article entitled "Rugged Terrain Is Converted Into Amazing Outdoor Theater" by Rudolph Pate. At the top of the page "Drama-Outdoor. "Horn in the West" N" and other markings are written in pencil. "Horn in the west (Historical drama). N" is written in red pen. The article also has two accompanying images. Pate's article describes the process by which the Daniel Boone Theater was built. There is both a description of the people involved with the construction of the theater and also the many people who were excited for the new production. Pate also interviewed John Lippard about the construction of the theater who mentioned that it was built for the Horn in the West and its stage directions.
