Description

This picture is a color slide of Poplar Hill Drive during the blizzard of 1960. On the slide "60 snow" is written in pen. The image is pink due to Still Image degradation and there are black spots on the picture. The picture shows a family, likely the Bagley family, walking through the snow in front of the Palmer Blair house. There are two adults wearing hats and one child, Marsha Bagley, with a hood over their head. They are walking through a path of snow that already has footsteps. The house is made of brick with the upper level made of a different material. There are quite a few icicles all around the house. There is also a door barely visible over the hill that has a lamp above it. On the bottom right, there seems to be part of a snow pile from a snow plow or previous efforts to shovel the road.
